The video features Cousteau giving an impassioned, fury filled performance in a dimly lit “abyss.” His moves show both anger and despair interspliced with real - life news clips of some of modern history’s most pivotal and traumatic headlines. 9/11, George Floyd's murder, Rodney King being beaten by police, the January 6th riot, Sandy Hook each have their moment in the song with countless other scenes taken from riots, school shootings, and war zones.
