| Whilst Thame Green Living was the driving force behind the creation of Thame's Green Living Plan, with Thame Town Council then adopting it, these are certainly not the only two organisations involved in delivering work that will enable us to achieve the actions outlined within the plan. Rather there are many different groups involved, all playing different parts. Over the past few months, Thame Green Living have been working with Thame Town Council to develop their website so that it can better showcase all of the work taking place in and around Thame that is helping to achieve the Thame Green Living Plan. https://thamegreenliving.org.u... The website now contains lists of projects, events and resources, alongside a new Calendar of events that this news letter will now link to. If you have anything you want to add to the event going forward, please make sure that you email details and a relevant image to [email protected]

| Have you signed the petition yet? |
|
This petition will close in the next month, so please do sign it and spread the word. The Greenway Group, which is campaigning for a walking, wheeling and cycling route between Thame and Haddenham, has received an encouraging response to the petition launched at the end of August: over 2,900 people have signed. Many people will be aware that the Greenway has been under consideration by Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire councils for over 20 years. We are assured that the project is live and that work is actively taking place on route options. However, we would like to demonstrate to our elected representatives the strength of support for being able to reach our neighbouring community safely and healthily without resorting to motorised transport or having to face the dangers of the main roads between Thame and Haddenham. Thank you, Thame and Haddenham Greenway Group https://chng.it/rpFnQMCSTP Please email [email protected]with “Subscribe Greenway” in the subject line if you wish to be kept informed about Greenway Group activities and relevant news. Subscription is free and they guarantee no spam. |
