This year we had a team of 14 amazing people, the largest team we have taken to date; Scott, Andy, Stuart, Gill, Daniella, Ethan, James & Elizabeth, Cari & John, Martin, Reuben, Lucy & myself.
The team have been fantastic, such passion for Jesus and a unity made this team a pleasure and this shone out wherever they went, even the secular radio station commenting that “these guys are crazy in love with Jesus”.
They dealt with 6 hotel moves, over 1000 kilometres of travel in the ‘Team Minibus’, adapting to whatever was put in front of them with such grace and enthusiasm. The team have been stretched, shaped and stepped out of the boat on so many occasions, with many of the team having the opportunity to share their testimony at the crusades, which for some was their first time in front of so many people. They have been an absolute blessing not only to the people of Chiapas but to Lucy and myself – guys, we couldn’t have done this without you!!!
We also couldn’t do what we do without a whole host of translators that help us along the way. From old faces to new ones, to ones that are with us for the full mission or ones that are just part of a few days, we recognise that they are right in the thick of it with us and we pray that you are built up in the Lord and spurred on long after we leave, still ministering in the supernatural as you have seen the Lord doing through you. Thankyou for your faithful service … and getting to grips with some of our ‘northern accents’!!!
