Holiday Toy Drive



Join us in supporting our Interact Cub and Central County Fire Department Holiday Toy Drive!

We're collecting new, unwrapped toys for children right here in our community. Your generous donation will help bring holiday joy and make this season special for a child in need.

Drop off new, unwrapped toys in the front lobby of Taylor by Friday, December 19, or at Station 38 (785 Crestview Dr. Millbrae) by Wednesday, December 24.

    Help Make Movie Magic!

    Hey parents!

    

    Taylor's Student Leadership has a movie night planned for all Taylor students on Friday, December 5th from 3:45pm to 6pm and they need your help for just a few hours after school!

    

    Please sign up for a shift and expect to do any of the following on your shift: 

    • picking up pizzas from Costco
    • setting up the popcorn machine 
    • making popcorn
    • serving pizza
    • monitoring students at the concessions, and/or 
    • clean up

    Help Make the Music Happen!

    Dear Taylor Families,

    

    The Taylor Winter Concert is on Wednesday December 10 at Mills High School. In addition to showcasing the Taylor music students, the concert is also a fundraising event for Taylor music. In preparation we are looking for parents to help by:

    1. volunteering their time on the day of the concert OR
    2. making a financial donation towards purchasing concessions and gift cards.

    Our concession lead, Cindy Chang, will purchase and transport concessions and gift cards to Mills. All concessions sales at the concert will support the Taylor Music program. Gift cards will be raffled off as prizes at the concert. All raffle ticket sales will also go towards supporting the Taylor music program.

    Music Needs Your Help!

    Dear music parents, 

    Taylor has a wonderful music program thanks to teacher Amanda Negrete, who works endless days coordinating lots of moving parts and teaching the students. Every year she also relies on a dedicated group of parents who volunteer their time and efforts to help her. We are asking all Taylor music parents to help keep this volunteer group going this year.  As the saying goes, "many hands make light work."  

    

    The main goals of the music parent volunteer group is to help with fundraising and concerts. The Winter Concert is fast approaching on December 10th at Mills High School. Ms. Amanda would truly appreciate help from volunteers to help set up, sell concessions, and other tasks during the concert. Please e-mail if you're interested in helping out with the concert or other activities during the year. We also hope to find some parent leads to help with organizing volunteer events. If you're interested, let us know!
