TORONTO, ON - September 26, 2025 - This year marks a decade of The Hustle - one of the longest running, esteemed concert series from independent Toronto presenter, The Academy. After launching their anniversary festivities with a successful concert at Trillium Park this summer, they're bringing the party to Revival Event Venue in Toronto on Thursday, October 16 with a stacked lineup of some of Canada's best Hip Hop, R&B and Soul artists - from emerging artists to legendary trailblazers.

The Hustle's stage has been a formative platform to uplift the careers of those on the lineup, amongst many others. Headlining the night is Juno Award-winning collective Naturally Born Strangers (Adam Bomb, Rich Kidd, Tona), legendary Singapore-born and based, Toronto and Vancouver-raised artist, Masia One, Ottawa rapper, community builder, and entrepreneur, City Fidelia, Mississauga MCs, RunxGun (Gudini and J.O. Mairs), sharp lyricist Keysha Freshh, powerhouse rap group, StayOutLate (Charlie Noiir, Scotty IV, Tremayne), and poetic singer-songwriter, Shqdel. Tremayne (of StayOutLate) will double as the show’s host while longstanding Toronto stalwart, DJ Law, will helm the decks.

The Hustle is a concert series that places a focus on new and emerging artists, predominantly Toronto-based, with select guests from across Canada. The music focus is on Hip Hop, R&B/Soul, and instrumental beat-driven genres. Their programming champions new music discovery and development through dynamic performance showcases, workshops and presentations. Since 2015, The Hustle has produced and delivered 45 editions across Toronto and the GTA, featuring over 120 artists, with hundreds of attendees per show. The 2025 anniversary lineup features alumni of past sessions, all of which have built audiences in the city, and worldwide, through their creative contributions and unique, artistic approach.
On August 23, 2025, The Hustle anniversary began with an outdoor concert in Trillium Park as part of Ontario Place's SummerSeries cultural programming. It was headlined by visionary JUNO-nominated rapper, producer, engineer and director, Clairmont The Second, and featured performances by R&B singer-songwriter, Leila Dey, innovative R&B/Hip Hop-blending duo, TRP.P, soulful melody maker, Adria Kain, renegade rapper/singer, Roshin, prolific producer, Datsunn, sharp lyricist, Beaugé, Guelph-raised, Toronto-based progenitor, Elaquent, multifarious Polaris Music Prize-nominated composer-producer, OBUXUM, and hosted by /DJ/MC, TREMAYNE.
