Hey everyone,

Thanks for signing up and showing interest in Central Coast Flyers! We're officially gaining altitude.



What’s New:

• Growing Interest: We now have 12–14 interested members on the list. This is a solid start and tells us there’s real momentum for a local flying club based out of SLO!
• Aircraft Watch: We’re actively looking at two types of aircraft for our launch fleet, a Cessna 150 and a Cessna 172. These will give us affordable training and travel flexibility to kick things off right.
• Prospective Aircraft Page: We’re adding a section to the website showcasing planes we’re seriously considering, so you can follow along in real time.
• Timeline Blog: We also added a new blog section on the website to document major milestones as we grow, from formation to funding to fleet expansion.
• Initial Funding Secured: We’ve secured a $20,000 loan to help jump-start the club and fund our first aircraft purchase and startup costs. This gives us the momentum we need to move quickly as we finalize the fleet.

What’s Next:

• Narrowing down aircraft selections and making a first purchase.
• Continuing 501(c)(7) nonprofit setup and securing tie-downs.
• Prepping for our first info session once we get closer to launch.
