Venue: Catholic Leadership Centre, East Melbourne

Danping Wang, Programme Lead of Chinese and Associate Professor at the University of Auckland, will invite us to take a nuanced look at teaching Languages in the age of AI with a presentation entitled Blaming the Bot? Why Our Struggles with AI Point to Deeper Pedagogical Gaps and Ross Halliday, Primary Project Leader at the University of Melbourne will unpack the Victorian Teaching and Learning Model 2.0 and identify how it can inform quality design of Languages curriculum. There will also be innovative workshops presented by Languages educators and opportunities to network and collaborate with colleagues. Save the date! Registrations will open in August and ticket prices will be the same as for our 2024 Conference
