Fun League Jun 10th Results

A nice day out there and a lot of birdies! Three with multiple birdies! I believe the most in a day since we have kept track of them.

Hopefully the weather will hold out this week. Fingers crossed!

Two weeks left in the 1st Half and it should be a great finish!

Handicaps

We discovered when scoring the first match of the week that the handicaps I had sent out on the sheet last week were incorrect for quite a few golfers. They were listed one stoke higher than they should have been. This is because we had played three rounds and I had it as two on the Front (Par 35) and one on the Back (Par 36). It was actually the opposite.
Everything is now correct. The score sheets for last week have the correct handicaps for everyone. This did not impact any previous weeks for we were using last season's handicaps. Let me know if you have any questions.

Tee Times

A reminder that our tee time range is 4:08 - 4:56. I'm not sure if we had previously been given the exact start time for this season. If you are ready to go earlier than that, please verify with the pro shop if there are any groups yet to go out before us.
The 4:08 start time is the same as previous years and I know groups were able to go earlier many times. I did ask for an earlier start time this season, but guess we were not provided that luxury. If you schedule an earlier tee time, that should not be an issue.

Weather 6/17

The current forecast for this Tues is showers, with thunderstorms possible during play. When has that happened before? Grrr! It may be another "game-time" decision to go out or not. Keep an eye on things and be in communication with your opponents. If storms arrive during play, feel free to come in early. If half the teams do not finish the week will be rescheduled. Otherwise, matchups that do not finish will be scored 20-20.
If you decide not to go out, no issue, but please let me know so I can keep updated and let others and the course know what is happening.

Extra Team

With us currently having 13 teams, that means the Extra Team is in play. The Extra Team is #14 on the schedule. If you are scheduled to play that team, you will go play your round (you won't have a physical opponent to play with) and turn in your scores. We will randomly pick another team who played that week to match up against. The score sheets will detail who was selected as the "Extra Team" that week for the matchup.
