Announcing our final #GFN25 keynote speaker: Jacob Grier!

Image description

Our final keynote speaker reveal for #GFN25 is…*drumroll please*...Jacob Grier! Jacob is a US-based journalist who’s written for Reason, Slate and The Atlantic, regularly tackling some of the toughest topics in the tobacco control debate. In his #GFN25 keynote on Friday 20 June, Jacob will highlight how, despite positive gains made by advocates for drug harm reduction, tobacco harm reductionists face an uphill battle to be heard, let alone get the evidence across.

From outdated media narratives that have hampered tobacco harm reduction efforts, to prohibitionist policies and their consequences, Jacob Grier will guide us through the current state of THR and tobacco control messaging, and help advocates create compelling narratives that share the evidence underpinning THR.
