In recent months, we have had so many people ask, “What can I do to be the most helpful for the Salus Center and all that you do?”
The simple truth is, the most effective and impactful way to help our organization is through donorship, especially in these uncertain times. We are so thankful for everyone who has recently donated and for those who’ve become sustainable donors.
Your dollars help us create and sustain programming, events, and provide resources that not only help aid our community, but give us all a sense of togetherness and joy一something we need more and more of these days, it seems. Every cent donated contributes to our mission and vision to support a greater Lansing where 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals can live and thrive as their true, authentic selves.
Keeping the Salus Center open for all of us involves several monthly expenses:
1 month stipend for one support group leader: $100
1 month of utility bulls: $300
1 month of rent for our building: $1400
