FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

February 26, 2025

Canadian artist Jordan Holman, known as Kentucky, has released the official music video for “No More Tomorrows”, the first single from his upcoming debut album Second Chance Music. The video, filmed in the historic Almonte Old Town Hall, mirrors the song’s raw emotion, taking viewers on a visual journey through pivotal moments in Holman’s life—both the darkest and the most triumphant. Through a series of loosely reenacted vignettes, he invites audiences into his personal history, capturing the essence of struggle, survival, and self-reclamation.

Set in a grand yet intimate performance space, the video follows Kentucky as he moves through the empty venue, its quiet presence amplifying the weight of his story. The Almonte Old Town Hall, with its century-old architecture and deep ties to the community, holds personal significance for the artist. One year to the day before the video's release, Kentucky stood on that very stage for his first major show in town, opening to a sold-out audience at the Folkus Concert Series. With this video, he pays tribute not only to his own journey but also to the town that embraced him as one of its own.

The choice of location adds layers of meaning to the visual narrative. Almonte, Ontario, has become Kentucky’s adopted hometown, a place where he found both refuge and creative inspiration. The video itself was captured in a spontaneous yet intentional moment, filmed in just three takes before the next event took over the hall. This stripped-down, almost guerrilla-style approach reflects the unfiltered honesty of “No More Tomorrows”—a song that doesn’t just tell a story but lives it in every note.

Beyond its setting, the video introduces the character of Kentucky in a way that is both deeply personal and universally resonant. The performance isn’t theatrical but lived-in, as Holman shifts through different moments with a quiet intensity that speaks to the depth of his experience. At its core, “No More Tomorrows” is a song about reckoning with the past while forging ahead—a theme that translates seamlessly into the video’s visual storytelling.

As Second Chance Music begins to take shape, this video serves as an early testament to what listeners can expect: music that isn’t just heard but felt. With “No More Tomorrows”, Kentucky sets the tone for an album that will be as much about survival as it is about celebration. The music video is now available on all major platforms, offering audiences a first glimpse into the world that Holman is building—one song, one story, and one moment at a time.

About Kentucky

Kentucky, the musical project of Canadian artist Jordan Holman, is emerging like a quiet signal cutting through late-night static. His songs—a quicksilver blend of acoustic rock, indie folk, and subtle ’90s alternative glow—carry stories shaped by extremes: from near-death hushes to the hard-won hope of second chances. Influences like The Tragically Hip, Bryan Adams, Neil Young, and R.E.M. whisper in his ear, but it’s Holman’s own voice—an unwavering tenor wrapped around each thoughtful chord—that draws listeners closer. Having performed over 100 times across Ontario, Quebec, and his birthplace of Edmonton, Alberta, Kentucky’s music takes on a living presence in these spaces, forging connections at once both intimate and universal. His forthcoming debut album, Second Chance Music, distills this experience into a testament of resilience and renewal, and reminds us that sometimes a song is all it takes to guide us back to the light.
