Shannon Chance, Tom Børsen, Diana Adela Martin, Roland Tormey, Thomas Taro Lennerforts and Gunter Bombaerts have gathered a team of 105 international authors who explore key aspects of engineering ethics education in The Routledge International Handbook of Engineering Ethics Education. This open-access book offers insights on teaching methodologies, ethical issues across disciplines, and assessment strategies. It is set to become a cornerstone for educators seeking to integrate ethics into engineering curricula. The Ethics SIG also launches a SEFI@work webinar series to introduce specific sections of the handbook:

25-27 June 2025 - Wolfenbüttel, DE. The 22nd SEFI SIG in Mathematics seminar will be held at Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences. This seminar serves as a platform to exchange ideas and practices on teaching mathematics in engineering, with key topics including AI in mathematics education, project-based learning, and supporting diverse student groups. Educators are invited to submit 4-6 page papers, with abstracts due by 31 December 2024.

SEFI@WORK INVITATIONS

In 2024 and 2025, the SEFI Special Interest Groups are joining efforts around the "International Handbook of Engineering Education Research". Each session will focus on one chapter, giving the floor to authors of the chapter.
