January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month |
|
As part of our push at St. Michael's FPI, we encourage men to live virtuously, especially while using technology. To help men rise to this calling, we take on the responsibility of protector for people who are susceptible to trauma through digital imagery that disfigures the beauty of the human person. We need real initiatives and directions to make an impact and the National Center for Sexual Exploitation offers an avenue to make that possible. Will you please share this link far and wide as we make it more difficult for perpetrators of exploitation to have access to vulnerable minds? Read through the information to learn more, but most importantly, click the Take Action button and make your voice heard. Thank you! |

Start the New Year in Fraternity and prayer! There are many intentions of fidelity and conversion that need prayer to sustain them. Monday, January 13 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the Sacred Heart Cathedral. Witness: Timothy DeVanny, McQuaid grad 1983 Recently leaving Zimmer/Biomet as a Regional Sales Manager, Tim comes to us with years of experience as a husband and a father who has seen his share of adversity. As Tim navigated his way through challenges in marriage, it was Christ, Our savior, that saved Tim from despair and dysfunction. Tim will share some of that story with us and demonstrate virtue in the making as he drew from the knowledge of Christ afforded him through his Catholic upbringing. Please let us know if you can come by clicking here! |

Help Lois Azessie Cover His Medical Expenses |
|
Lois Azessie is an incredible man of faith and service. After immigrating to the U.S. from Cameroon to escape violence in his homeland, Lois has become a vital part of our community. He is a devoted Catholic who volunteers countless hours helping our refugee population attend Mass at the Cathedral, all while rebuilding his life in a new country. Recently, Lois underwent surgery to remove kidney stones, a procedure that finally brought him relief after years of suffering. While his insurance covered 80% of the cost, he is left with a $4,000 medical bill. Now, Lois needs our help. Let’s come together as a community to support someone who has given so much to others. Please donate and share this fundraiser to help Lois reach his goal. |
