| Australian International Education Conference (AIEC) |

It was a jam-packed four-day of the Australian International Education Conference (AIEC) with the hashtag#Melbourne. AIHE joins in congratulating the organisers and over 1800 participants of the massive hashtag#AIEC2024. Key announcements from the government, industry data sets, and insightful discussions among the education agents and providers suggest that the coming months will be tumultuous. But as IDP Education Ltd CEO Tennealle O'Shannessy said at the opening of the conference, "We will take on this challenge together, united by our shared belief that international education makes the world a kinder, more tolerant and safer place." |

| We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Cyril Jankoff as the new Head of School at the Adelaide Institute of Higher Education (AIHE). With over 30 years of educating international students, Dr Jankoff brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this pivotal role.
Throughout his career, Dr Jankoff has lectured across a range of subjects, including Accounting, Negotiation, Risk Management, Procurement, and Business Law. Prior to AIHE, he was a key member of the Academic Directorate team and served as the Executive Delivery Mode MBA Program Director at the Universal Business School of Sydney.
In addition to his academic contributions, Dr Jankoff is a qualified and experienced Solicitor, a Certified Practising Accountant, and a Fellow of CPA Australia. He has also authored several books on the intersection of commerce and law.
As AIHE enters an exciting phase of growth, we are confident that Dr Jankoff’s leadership and extensive experience will drive our continued success and enhance our academic offerings. |
