Greetings

In a week where astronauts captured amazing aurora borealis images from space, a Taiwanese man has created yarn from oyster shells, and the second-largest diamond was found in Botswana (2.492 carats!), we're still talking board games here at Meeple Mountain

Recent Posts

We publish new articles, reviews, and lists almost a dozen times a week. Here's some of the things we've been talking about in the past week.

This Week's Puzzle

From the dizzying heights, high atop Meeple Mountain, the air can get thin and images start to spin. Here are four sections of box art that swirled before our eyes. Each game has the original colors and was reviewed within the last six months. If you can name all three, send your guesses to [email protected].

What Are Our Most Played Games?

You won't be surprised to learn we here at Meeple Mountain play a lot of games: some for review, some because we love them so much. This week, I asked our crew, "What game have you played the most times?"

Andy Matthews

I've played Mancala more than any other game. Primarily because my oldest son taught me when he was 6 or 7, and we used to play a bunch of times when he was younger.

Mark Iradian

Scythe
. 100 times. My friends were crazy for it and we played through the Rise of Fenris campaign 4 or 5 times.

Clayton Schoonover

Terraforming Mars
or The Castles of Burgundy by far

David McMillan

My wife and I have played The Game: Face to Face over 100 times now. It's very portable, it plays rapidly, it's still significantly engaging after 100+ plays, and it's fun. (edited)

Andrew Lynch

Probably Race for the Galaxy. I hit the app hard for over a year.

Thomas Wells

If we don't count my Through the Ages (200+) and Race for the Galaxy (8000+) addictions, Terra Mystica / Age of Innovation

Come back next week for more responses from the team.
