One more week in the 2nd Half. Nick D / Steve W have a nice lead, but in sports one never knows - "It ain't over 'til it's over", as the saying goes. Given the weather this year, how are we not surprised the last week of the regular season may be one of the hottest of the year! Also, a chance of thunderstorms. Of course! We'll see what happens and I'll keep everyone updated. The plan is this is the last week if we play or not. Next week will be the season wrap up. More on that below. |

| The plan is the same as last time -> 7 total pizzas - 4 pepperoni and 3 sausage (or vice versa). I have asked the course to alert the pub. I tried to be very proactive last time and no one was aware of anything. So, we'll see. I have a conflict so won't be golfing. I will be at the pub closer to 6 pm to help coordinate. If the first group out wants to ask the pub to have one ready at a certain time when they get back, that is fine with me. Otherwise, can order as you arrive after your round. Once I'm there I'll try to handle things. There is enough for one pizza per grouping/matchup. Just tell them I am going to pay the pizza tab under the Fun League. If the weather doesn't play nice, we'll see what we do. If everyone is already at the course, we will have pizza. If not, then we'll push it to next week. |

| The plan is to end the regular season this week, rain or shine. Then we'll have the championship match (if needed) along with a fun night to wrap up the season on Sept 3rd. Next week (9/3) will be a scramble with hole prizes and payout to the top team(s). Also, given what happens with the pizza fund this week, there may be some additional prizes. I'll send out all the details next week. The most important pieces are the following. - 2 or 3 person teams. You can golf with any member of the league (including one who has only subbed this season)
- Handicaps will be the sum of the individual handicaps divided by 4 for a 2-person team and divided by 8 for a 3 person team.
- $5 entry fee person. We will pay out some to the top teams and hopefully have some for prizes.
