Embark on a unique "paddock to plate" learning journey with our school excursions at @Lenswood, an award-winning Agritourism destination just outside Adelaide. Designed to provide a holistic understanding of food production, students will experience the behind-the-scenes operations of a commercial apple orchard, learning about the entire process from growing to the supermarket. Curriculum-Linked Learning: Our excursions are designed to align with the Australian Curriculum, focusing on the Food and Fibre Curriculum Connection. ReWild Your School is designed to inspire and engage year 5 and 6 students in hands-on environmental education, fostering a deeper connection with nature and encouraging stewardship of the natural world. Jajoo Warrngara: The Culture Classroom is a First Nations led education portal for teachers and schools. It is a social enterprise with 50% of subscription revenue returned to the communities who we co-developed resources and 50% into supporting further SharingStories Foundation work with partner communities. Our resources are: - Community led and written by First Nations teachers
- Include cultural protocols and guidelines to give teachers confidence sharing First Nations perspectives
- Return 50% of the revenue generated to the community

We're inviting students from Years 9 to 11 to step into the future of food at our special school days, held at the Waite campus this November. Start your journey in our immersive Mars plant-growing facility, then dive into a series of hands-on, interactive sessions that will explore: - Feeding astronauts for deep space exploration
- Sustainable food systems featuring edible insects
- How plants can be grown in space for food, medicine, and even bioplastics
- The impact of Plants for Space on sustainability here on Earth

Mozzie Monitors in Schools Professional Development: participating in citizen science in an education setting |

Mozzie Monitors has engaged members of the public across Australia to participate in mosquito surveillance. This model of Citizen Science can play an important role in environmental monitoring of biodiversity and health risks. The Mozzie Monitors in Schools project seeks to extend the existing Citizen Science activity into schools. We invite teachers to participate in a CPD session that will: - expand their knowledge of facilitate student participation in citizen science
- prepare and equip them for leading class mosquito trapping and identification in the Mozzie Monitors program
- Provide curriculum linked educational resources for in-class activities
