Greetings

In a week where a cat lost in Yellowstone finished its 800 mile journey back to its family, an original copy of the US Constitution was found in a cabinet by members of a family who were moving after seven generations, and Virginia state parks have installed viewfinders for the colorblind (just in time for Fall leaves), we're still talking board games here at Meeple Mountain.

We publish new articles, reviews, and lists almost a dozen times a week. Here's some of the things we've been talking about in the past week.

This Week's Puzzle

This week, we're back with another set of clever anagrams. Below, you'll find the names of five games we've reviewed in recent weeks. If you think you know them all, send your answers to [email protected]!

Levers Arrival Glows Sky

Basal Cheek Snot

Zenith Honored Boy

Vine Fried Elk

Camelhair Golf Floss

What's New?

This week, I asked the team, What's your favorite game to play with your kids? (Regardless of their ages?) Here's what they had to say:

Andrew Holmes
Daft as it is, I've recently really enjoyed playing Happy Salmon with the kids. They just laugh constantly for two minutes non-stop as we all high five, fish bump and happy salmon each other, and then demand another game of it.

Clayton Schoonover

One Night Ultimate Werewolf, but it also made me realize my middle daughter is really good at lying, which kind of has me worried.

Justin Bell

Crossbows & Catapults!

K. David Ladage

Castle Panic (with no scoring). Great time, lots of laughter and discussions.

Bob Pazehoski

Camel Up is one of the few games that can both handle (there are 7 of us, after all) and scratch the itch of every member of our family.

Abram Towle

My son loves Tenpenny Parks because of the little wooden trees and the ultra-big "people" meeples, even if we just place things on our parks and pretend to go on the rides.
