| AIS had a fantastic day of friendly competition between school houses! The energy was electric as the students showcased their skills and team spirit in table tennis and tug of war. | Study Tour - Kogakuin, Japan |
|
AIS in collaboration with University Senior College were lucky enough to host 10 Japanese boys from Kogakuin, Tokyo for just over a week.The boys were ready for exciting experiences involving Australian slang words and new experiences tasting Australian native foods such as wattle seed banana cake. They also learnt how to play Aussie Rules.Throughout their short time with us, they were able to buddy up with the AISA class to talk English and experience life as an International student.Their final day had them going on a trip to Haighs to value the local ingredients of South Australian chocolate.It was sad to see them go and we wish them all the best and hope to see them again in the near future, we know the AISA students will now want to head to Japan to see them again!Special thanks to our staff Mr. Vincent Hermann, who took great care and initiative to make the students feel welcome! |

| Ethical use of Generative AI
|
|
AIHE Adelaide and Melbourne campuses recently conducted a workshop on ‘Ethical Use of Generative AI’. The workshop, held on August 14, 2024, emphasised the importance of maintaining academic integrity in the age of AI. The MBA and Bachelor of Business Students had the opportunity to discuss ways of using AI ethically in their academic work and raise important questions in the Q&A portion.
The ultimate goal of AIHE is to work together with lecturers, staff, and students to utilise AI tools to advance teaching and learning without compromising academic integrity. |

| Partnership with the St Therese Education Foundation of Tacloban
|

The Adelaide Education Group (AEG), through its Adelaide Institute of Higher Education (AIHE), is excited to announce a new partnership with the St Therese Education Foundation of Tacloban, Inc. (STEFTI). STEFTI is a Christian Catholic private school committed to delivering exceptional academic and religious education from Pre-Primary through Senior High School.
This collaboration aims to harness the strengths of both institutions to enrich educational opportunities, foster innovation, and expand access to advanced academic resources. By combining AEG’s and STEFTI’s expertise, the partnership will focus on enhancing educational practices and broadening the scope of academic excellence.

| Cooperation Agreement with Saint Paul School of Professional Studies (SPSPS)
|
|
Fatima Reyes, General Manager of the Adelaide Institute of Higher Education and Head of Partnerships and Engagement at the Adelaide Education Group, and Erwin Alcala, President of Saint Paul School of Professional Studies (SPSPS), have signed a Cooperation Agreement.
This agreement marks the collaborative effort between the two institutions, focusing on several key areas: a High School-to-Bachelor’s Program, Bachelor’s-to-MBA Program, and exchanges of faculty and students.SPSPS, the fifth-largest accountancy school in the Philippines and the leading private institution of higher learning in the Eastern Visayas Region boasts an impressive track record.
Over the past 25 years, SPSPS has produced 3,000 Certified Public Accountants and ranks among the top 10 CPA-producing schools in the country. It has been granted Associate Status by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities – Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) and is currently working for its ISO Certification. Recently, SPSPS also established a partnership with CPA Australia. |

The AIHE MBA students visited the InterContinental Hotel Adelaide as part of one of their subjects, Hospitality Industry Structure & Management. Under the guidance of their lecturer, Kellie Lumsden, they engaged with industry professionals and had the opportunity to meet with Erik Stuebe, the General Manager at InterContinental Hotels & Resorts in Adelaide. Our students gained valuable insights into the hospitality sector and had the chance to ask industry-relevant questions. This real-world experience was an enriching experience to enhance students’ understanding and enthusiasm for their future careers. |
