Summer Fun Day

Take a look at our new equipment for equitable access to recreation and active community programs!  Information on borrowing equipment will be available.



We have bikes and recreational mobility equipment of all shapes and sizes; come and see which one is a good fit for you.



Inside, we will have a quiet room with sensory activities.  Outdoors: Lawn games, obstacle course, and races.



Due to weather, this event may be indoors only and all of the available equipment may not be showcased.

Lemonade in the Shade

for Kids and Teens

Friday July 19th from 1 to 3 PM



We’ll make lemonade together

and enjoy it in the shade

as we chat about your ideas

for making the library better.

Please arrive by 1pm.

Young children must be

accompanied by an adult.

As always you are welcome to come in and fill up your water bottles so you stay hydrated.  Need a break from the heat? Find a comfy spot to read a book, make art, or play a board game.

Creativity Club Activities

for ages 10 and older

Tuesday Afternoons from 1 to 3 PM

Virtual Reality

Wednesday Afternoons from 2 to 4 PM

Recommended age for Virtual Reality is 13 years and older.

All participants under 18 years require a parental consent form to be signed.

Parents must be present during the activity for anyone under 13 years of age.

All summer long, ask staff for:

Sidewalk Chalk

Rubberband Bracelet Making Supplies

Card Making Supplies

(remember to return items to

desk when you are finished)
