AIS Launches Strategic Plan 2024-26:
Growing Global Citizens

Dear parents, students, friends of Adelaide International School

On behalf of the Business owner, Chairman of the Board and the AIS executive team, I am thrilled to announce the launch of our school's new strategic plan, aptly named "Growing Global Citizens." This plan sets a bold course for our future, one that is foundational in our commitment to fostering an inclusive, diverse, and forward-thinking learning environment.

At the heart of "Growing Global Citizens" are five key goals that will guide our efforts and shape our collective journey:

  • Create a Diverse and Inclusive Learning Culture: We believe in the power of diversity to enrich our educational experience and prepare our students for success in an interconnected world. By fostering an environment where every voice is heard, valued, and respected, we will create a vibrant community where all learners can thrive.
  • Provide a Positive Student Experience: Our students are at the heart of everything we do. Through personalised support, innovative teaching methods, and a focus on holistic development, we are committed to providing a positive and enriching experience that empowers every student to reach their full potential.
  • Increase Student Enrolment and Diversity: As we look to the future, it is essential that we continue to grow and evolve to meet the needs of an ever-changing world. By actively recruiting students from diverse backgrounds and fostering a welcoming environment for all, we will ensure that our school remains a dynamic and inclusive community.
  • Engage with the Community: We recognise the importance of strong partnerships between the school, families, and the wider community. Through meaningful collaboration and outreach initiatives, we will strengthen these connections and work together to support the growth and success of all our students.
  • Future-Proof the School: In a rapidly changing world, it is crucial that we adapt and innovate to stay ahead. By embracing new technologies, pedagogical approaches, and best practices, we will future-proof our school and equip our students with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in the 21st century and beyond.

I invite each and every one of you to join us in this important endeavour. Together, we will nurture the next generation of global citizens and empower them to make a positive impact on the world.

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our school community.

Best Regards,

Shaun Oakey

We take immense pride in introducing you to one of our exceptional trainers at the Adelaide Institute of Business and Technology (AIBT), Connie, who heads our cookery courses. Our trainers are the backbone of our institution, and their dedication to providing top-notch education is what sets us apart.

Connie's culinary journey began with her passion for cooking, which led her to pursue a Diploma at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu. Driven by her love for the art, she gained invaluable hands-on experience working in renowned restaurants and hotels. But Connie didn't stop there! She further honed her skills by completing a TAE (Training and Assessment) course, enabling her to become the skilled trainer and assessor she is today.

For over three years, Connie has been sharing her wealth of knowledge and engaging with students at AIBT. Her unique ability to connect with each individual ensures a personalised and enriching learning experience for every student. With her rich industry background, Connie is committed to guiding aspiring chefs on their culinary journey, making her an invaluable asset to our team.
