| Interview on Your Experience of Curriculum Change within Engineering Education |
|
You are invited to participate in an individual interview on your experience of curriculum change within engineering education! The imperative for engineers to address socio-technological challenges prompts educators to integrate social, environmental, and ethical dimensions into engineering curricula, prompting change. This shift can impact educators' personal values, identities, and beliefs, with the success of change often hinging on their emotional reactions. This study aims to explore engineer educators' emotions towards curriculum change, their management of emotional labor, and ensuing ramifications. Data will be collected during semi-structured interviews. Findings will provide insight into effective change management processes. The interview will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hour and will be scheduled at a time of your convenience. Participation is completely voluntary and consent can be withdrawn at any time. - Please contact [email protected] for the participant information sheet and further details
