#GFN24: The good, the bad and the ugly (science) in tobacco harm reduction

“Rating the evidence - good and bad science” sees hosts Arielle Selya and Clive Bates constructing a new paradigm for the interrogation of THR science. By inviting challenge through panel discussion and audience participation, Clive and Arielle will ask, why is there so much bad science? And what needs to change in the big picture? Joining Clive and Arielle are Roberto Sussman, lecturer in physics and tackler of vaping science misinformation, and Gizelle Baker, Vice President of Global Scientific Engagement at PMI. Together this panel will dive into the good, the bad and the ugly of safer nicotine product science, using their extensive experience to explore the present and future of THR research. In case you can’t join us live in Warsaw, this session will also be streamed online for free.

And what better way to shift the dial in favour of good science than with #GFN24 Science Lab! Only those who are joining us in-person at #GFN24 in Warsaw can join our dedicated Science Lab sessions where Science Lab participants will be giving 15 minute presentations (including screening of their #GFNFive) to explore their science in further detail. However, if you can’t be with us in Warsaw you can still view the Science Lab films, which are being added to our website.
