Fun League May 14th Results

Another week is in the books. As you may notice below in the Notable Hole Scores, one grouping ended playing the opposite Nine due to the teams not playing at the same time and the initial group incorrectly enjoying the Back Nine while wondering why they didn't catch up to any other group in our league. We can work through this and did, so all good.

For this week, Jared Bothe will be collecting cards and Mulligan money. Both Eric and I are out and I don't think I will make it back in time before the pub closes. As always, you can place your card and money in the envelope on the bulletin board as you enter the pub from the Pro Shop.

Last Week of Last Year's Handicaps

For golfers who played three rounds or more last year, that handicap is used for the first three weeks of league play this year. That means this week (if played) will be the last week using them. Next week, handicaps will be based off of play this year.
If this week is postponed due to weather, we will use last year's handicaps once more.

Weather This Week

The weather forecast for this Tues includes a chance of severe storms. Not sure what we've done?
I will try to keep everyone updated as much as I can. However, if this isn't a washout but rather whether or not a storm blows over the course it may be a wait and see type of thing.
We will need to use our best judgement. If you are not comfortable playing or see a storm coming and want to get off the course, by all means, please do so.
If conditions force at least half of the teams to not complete their round, the week will not count and will be added to the end of the current schedule.
I am umpiring high school softball this Tues in Random Lake at 5 pm, so if there is any last minute weather issues (after 2 pm), I may not be in a position to update everyone. Use your best judgement.
