| Week 1 is in the books! Beautiful weather greeted the golfers. The scores showed it was the first week for there were no birdies out there. Also, for the first time since I've been in the league, a windshield fell victim to an errant shot. Hopefully, that is it for a long time! |

| - The weather forecast for this Tues is not favorable - windy with 90% chance of showers. The full weather policy is in the Rules PDF (link below) so I won't restate it all here. In general, I will monitor and, if needed, contact the course around noon (or early afternoon) to inquire of conditions. I will email the league (text for those that provided that info) if the status changes. In general, if the league is currently still on to play, but your team is not comfortable playing, please let your opponent know. If conditions force at least half of the teams to not complete their round, the week will not count and will be added to the end of the current schedule.
- Reminder I am umpiring high school softball this Tues, so if there is any last minute weather issues (after 3pm), I may not be in a position to update everyone. Use your best judgement.

| - I talked with a few teams and no one expressed a concern with the pace of play this past Tues. That is great news. Please keep me updated with any concerns.
- Please communicate with your opponent so everyone is kept aware of your expected time of readiness to play. We have a reserved tee range from the course until 5:10 pm.
- If we run into issues we will explore options. If you have concerns please come with suggestions

| - I will not be out on the course the first four weeks due to high school umpiring. I will meet up in the pub to collect scorecards, etc.
- I don't believe the grill in the pub is operating these first few weeks. I believe some items are available like pizza, etc. I believe the grill is open starting May 15th.
- At the bottom of these emails, there are links to the website, the updated Schedule & Standings PDF, among others. Please use them for I always try to keep them updated if I'm a bit behind in getting these emails out to you.
