What's New?

Meeple Mountain is made up of over a dozen writers who love board games. Some of us have been writing for the site for years, while others have just joined us recently.

Of course, we know each other through our daily interactions via our Slack, but you likely don’t know us much at all. To help with this, we’re introducing a newsletter-only series to let you know a bit about each of us through some of our favorite games.

This month, we’d like you to meet K. David Ladage, the newest member of our team.

  • Bin’Fa: I wrote a lengthy article (linked) on how much this game (and designer) mean to me. All I can add is that none of my copies of this game will ever leave my collection.

  • Jambo: The math behind so many games is broken, leaving me feeling like someone needed a mathematician. Jambo is an economic game where every single value makes perfect sense.

  • Empyreal: Spells and Steam: I have loved this game since watching the unboxing at Meeple Mountain. That love continues to grow with each play!

It's All Fun & Games

This month’s quiz is a Name That Component photo quiz. (Note: All components shown are from games reviewed by Meeple Mountain.)

Send your guesses to us at [email protected]. A winner will be chosen at random from the winning answers and have their name listed in our next newsletter!
