ESA-ESSKA Round Table



In this edition of our Congress, we will have, for the first time, a round table organized and sponsored by ESA-ESSKA (European Shoulder Associates of the European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy). The theme of this round table will be “The Long Head of the Biceps Tendon – from Supporting to Leading Role in the Treatment of Rotator Cuff Tears (RCTs)”, and the program is as follows:

Round Table on the Hip-Spine Relationship



The associated Hip-Spine pathology is very current and is being discussed worldwide. This table aims to analyze this pathology, with both national and international guests, and is being organized by Prof. Nuno Neves, from the CUF Porto Hospital.

Young Specialists Session



The Young Specialists Committee of SPOT, coordinated by Drs. André Vinha and Duarte Sousa, will organize a round table on “Medical Career Management: I am an Orthopaedic Surgeon. Now What ?”

This session aims to discuss the issues and challenges related to the beginning of the specialty of Orthopedics and Traumatology, currently, and will have a guest from AAOS, who will talk about the American perspective of the beginning of the medical career, and its management.
