| We hope you had a great new years! These few weeks leading up to Christmas was a whirlwind - with lots of generosity and support from so many individuals, community groups, and local businesses! The Burnaby Christmas Bureau supported 790 families (with 1643 children), 253 seniors, and 600 at-risk individuals. And with the generous contribution from our community, we raised over $21,000 from the Lights On campaign - which will go to our most underfunded programs such as Food Hub, Community Programs, and Welcoming Place. Our programs are now back in full swing after the holidays, so let's see what's happening this month! |
