    CALL FOR PAPERS

There is a need for broader research perspectives in the area of emotions in engineering education. Most studies have focused on limited topics; thus, this special issue encourages researchers to explore new perspectives, diverse contexts, and underrepresented theories to better understand emotions in engineering education. If you are conducting relevant research, we would like to invite you to participate and submit your work before the deadline. Take advantage of this opportunity to contribute to this important field!

    FROM PARTNERS

In today's society, engineering plays a ubiquitous role, with engineers driving innovation, economic growth, and addressing societal challenges like health and the environment. However, the EU's engineering profession faces structural changes and skill gaps, particularly in transversal skills demanded by employers. The E4E initiative aims to enhance EU engineers' innovation and resilience by equipping them with new competencies, focusing on digital, green, strength, and entrepreneurship skills. FROM EUROPEAN UNION

The European Commission and the United Kingdom government have reached a significant agreement to associate the UK with Horizon Europe, the EU's £85 billion research program, and the Copernicus program, within the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement. This marks a pivotal moment in scientific and space collaboration between the EU and the UK, addressing a substantial gap in research cooperation caused by Brexit. This agreement, made possible by the Windsor Framework in February, reflects a shift to a more pragmatic approach by the UK government under Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, diverging from the hardline stances of previous leaders. UK researchers will now have equal access to Horizon Europe, the world's largest collaborative research initiative, strengthening scientific ties and fostering innovation in areas such as climate and health. Additionally, the UK's association with Copernicus will enhance its Earth monitoring capabilities and contribute to addressing environmental and climate challenges.
