Capital Improvements

Recent Updates

After nearly 45 years, Cabin 1 is the last guest cabin to get remodeled!  Thanks to our amazing facilities crew of The Riley's (Cardo, Cordell, and Randal), good progress is being made.  Floors are in and the walls will be going up soon!  It should be available for guests by the beginning of January.

In Memory

Ms. Elthymae Murphy

A forever family member of Forfar Field Station was lost too soon on August 5, 2023.  Ms. Elthymae was an evening cook at Forfar for 25 years.  She recently retired and was enjoying some extra time she had to spend with her children and grandchildren.  Her connection to Forfar ran deep as she knew Archie Forfar when she was a child.  She will be dearly missed.

If you have pictures or memories you would like to share, we will make sure they get to her family.  Please send any messages to [email protected].
