| AI apps generate harmful eating disorder advice
Six AI apps were found by the nonprofit Center for Countering Digital Hate to generate harmful eating disorder advice 41% of the time. Researchers tested chatbots ChatGPT, Bard and My AI before and after safety features were bypassed, with ChatGPT and My AI offering more harmful responses after jailbreaking, and image-based AI platforms DreamStudio, Midjourney and Dall-E provided 11, six and two harmful responses, respectively.

Surveys find disparities in medication abortion access
Surveys by the Guttmacher Institute find that many Black people and people with low incomes are less likely than white or Asian people to access medication methods of abortion. "It's important to recognize that people need access to the method of abortion that's most suitable to their lifestyle and preferences," said Guttmacher research scientist Rachel Jones.
