BCS Primary Health Care Prizes and Awards
Each year the BCS awards two prizes for contributions in the field of Primary Care computing or informatics.
The Hildi Franke Award (HFA) is for those who are students or in the first five years of their informatics career and the John Perry Prize (JPP) is for those who have already established a career in in Primary Care informatics.
Each carries a financial award (£250 for the HFA, £500 for the JPP) as well as an invitation to the Primary Healthcare Specialist Group annual conference to present your work. The winning applications are also published on the PHCSG website.
Your contribution may be a paper, a piece of software or an innovative approach to using existing software. Anything that has advanced the care of patients by enhancing the use of information technology. Deadline for applications is 4 September 2023.
