As we near the end of the year, we’d like to inspire you with yet another Global Forum on Nicotine innovation. Brand new for 2024, the GFN Film Festival is your opportunity to present your narrative, documentary or animated film to the #GFN24 conference and beyond! Curated by Jon Derricott and award winning film director Emmanuel Mwape, the GFN Film Festival offers you broad creative freedom to explore some of the most important concepts, pressing concerns and impactful stories from the world of tobacco harm reduction. You might create a documentary highlighting lived-experiences of the impact of safer nicotine products, a narrative/short film addressing the potential benefits of tobacco harm reduction, an innovative animated film, a public service announcement bringing tobacco harm reduction messages to a broader audience, or an educational video breaking down complex concepts - we can’t wait to see what you come up with! Selected entries will be shown at the in person event at #GFN24 in Warsaw. And best of all? The winner of ‘Best In Fest’ as determined by our expert panel of judges will win a $500 prize!

Your film may be any length. #GFNFives submissions are eligible for the GFN Film Festival. You can also submit your previously published original material - so if you’ve got a short film already out in the world, we’d love to see it and to highlight it at #GFN24!

All Film Festival entries must be submitted by 15 May 2024, and must be in English or have English subtitles. You will need to have registered for #GFN24 to submit your film for the GFN Film Festival.
