| This is the dark time, but soon, we know the days will get longer.
|
|
In the past I have watched teachers I respect honor this time of year by stepping back from public weekly teaching. This year I will do the same. Starting this week with the Winter Solstice my classes are going on a 4 week hiatus. I have not scheduled any subs. My first class back is scheduled for Saturday January 13th 2024 at Om Shala. Tonight, Monday the 18th of December is my last class. |

It has been numerous months since my last newsletter. In that time I taught my 2 weekly classes and made a few nidra recordings. One of which I home to publish soon. Also notably, I started a new job as the Maintenance and Facilities Coordinator at the Jacoby Creek K-8 School in Bayside, California. I've lived here in Arcata for over 10 years and working at JCS has been my favorite and most rewarding job thus far. The people there love and respect me and I am doing work that I can tell is really helping people.
