🎄 As November bids us farewell, the festive spirit is swirling in the air, and at Project Butterfly, we have exciting news to share! We are pleased to announce significant updates on our activities and goals.

Stay connected for detailed insights into our ongoing journey and achievements. 🌟

Results for our Opera composers selection!

We are excited to announce the conclusion of our composer selection process. All submitted artists have been checked for eligibility and they have undergone the first selection committee. Among the talented artists, two for Italy, two for Poland and two for Finland were chosen at the end of this initial stage.

Not only is the first selection complete, but the second selection phase, involving cooperation between our Opera partners and the schools, is finished. The winners for the Open Call have been chosen and here are their names:

  • Italy – Attura Marco
  • Poland - Baczewski Beniamin
  • Finland - Korpijaakko Paavo

This accomplishment reflects the collaborative efforts with our Opera Partners (Teatro Comunale di Modena, Opera Box, Opera Baltycka) and the students from High School Francesco-Selmi, High School no.6, and Otaniemi High School.

📚Project Butterfly's presence with Otaniemi High school students: Opera Box Environmental Day 🌿

Project Butterfly's activities with the students from Otaniemi High School in Finland are going great. This month, in collaboration with Opera Box and MyStash, the students learned about sustainable practices. Ville Salonen emphasized the theatre's role in reducing carbon footprints, inviting students to contribute to a sustainable future.

This meeting provided valuable awareness of what the students could do for the environment while demonstrating that a circular economy and sustainable choices are accessible to everyone and can become part of everyday life. The event successfully showcased the integration of ecological themes with culture through engaging activities for young participants.

Alessandro Roveri promotes Project Butterfly

On November 9, Alessandro Roveri, representing Teatro Comunale di Modena, our leading partner, participated in a conference at MAR (Ravenna Art Museum). The event provided an exclusive showcase of new calls for proposals from Europa Creativa – Cultura and MEDIA, as well as ongoing projects. We extend our gratitude to Alessandro Roveri for presenting our project to a whole new audience, promoting our aims and goals.
