U.S. Coast Guard Forces Micronesia/Sector Guam sends delegation to Republic of Marshall Islands, assuming expands role as primary facilitator of longstanding relationship

Capt. Nicholas Simmons of the U.S. Coast Guard led a delegation to the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) to reinforce the cooperative relationship under the Compact of Free Association (COFA). The visit emphasized the U.S. Coast Guard's role in regional maritime safety and cooperation in the Pacific.

U.S. Coast Guard, Republic of Palau strengthen maritime partnership for regional stability

U.S. Coast Guard and Republic of Palau representatives have taken steps to bolster maritime partnership and regional stability. Initiatives include joint exercises, enhanced enforcement capabilities in Palau's exclusive economic zone (EEZ), and maritime safety and education programs to strengthen cooperation in the Pacific region.

Celebration set at expanded veterans memorial

On November 11th, an event will commence at 8:15 a.m. at the Anthem Veterans Memorial. The event will include a tribute to Vietnam War-era veterans, a Veterans Day Ceremony from 10 to 11:15 a.m., and musical performances to honor military heroes and commemorate various historical milestones in military history.

Veterans Food Drive Kicks Off

Crossville Food City, Fairfield Glade Food City, and IGA of Crossville are partnering for the "Caring for our Veterans" Food Drive campaign, collecting non-perishable food items until Veterans Day, November 11th.
