2023 NASW-DE Chapter Elections are now open! Members of the Delaware Chapter should have received their ballots via email on July 25th via email.
Elections will be open through August 1. You must be a current member of the Delaware Chapter in order to vote. If you are a current member and did not receive your ballot via email, please send an email to [email protected] to receive a copy of the ballot.
Now it's time to let your voices be heard. Cast your vote now to help select the newest leaders on our Chapter's Board of Directors. Together we will keep our Chapter strong and thriving to support the needs of social workers and their clients throughout the state. |

Licensed master social worker Jillian Celentano knew as a young child that she was a girl, and she only shared that she was transgender with her therapist 50 years later when she was on the verge of suicide. Transitioning later in life may come with challenges but also resources to manage them, experts say, and Celentano notes that "while most gender journeys are never easy, every human being has the right to live as their true authentic selves, regardless of age."
