It's Batter Up for Little Holland and Grandpa Eric!

On June 28th, Eric hit a home run for his two-month-old granddaughter, Holland Woods Escobar. As a season ticket holder and loyal Angels' fan, Eric was featured on the big screen while holding his favorite little batter, Holland. Decked out in her Angels' baby-sized baseball swag, Holland received a certificate welcoming her to the 'team" and to the Angels' stadium. Even though the Angels lost to the Chicago White Sox that night, it was a win-win for Eric and Holland. Let's go, Angels!

Nothing Better Than Family on July 4th

Eric and Pamela celebrated the 4th with family. Because grandson Vance is now swimming like a champ, some of the festivities were held poolside including Baby Holland meeting her cousins for the first time. Being avid baseball fans, Eric and Pamela planned a night at The Diamond Club at Angel Stadium. For one happy little boy, there was ice cream, a double bobblehead, a new cap and an Angels' jersey. Fireworks topped off the night leaving everyone awestruck. Says Pamela, "This family means everything to me. I’ve enjoyed every second of this little 4th of July getaway."

Project Youth OC Thank Pamela and Eric

For their continued support of Project Youth OC and its scholarship program, Pamela and Eric received thank you notes from both the nonprofit and the award recipient. This year's scholarship recipient was once a participant in Project Youth OC's Project SELF (Summer Employment in Law Firms) where she spent 8 weeks as a paid intern at the Traut Firm. As a member of the Project Youth's Board of Directors, Eric supports their mission to keep at-risk youth in school, healthy, and drug-free through education, counseling, mentoring, and family strengthening. Andrea Molina

In early January 2023, Andrea Molina began working at Traut Firm as a Legal Assistant. Her previous experience as an Instructional Aide for SAUSD and in various areas of law: family property, real estate, construction defect, and immigration allowed Andrea to jump right into the firm’s busy workflow.

In no time at all, Andrea’s work ethic and smarts won her a promotion to Paralegal. Currently, her responsibilities include preparing and filing lawsuits, service of process, discovery, drafting demands, negotiating liens, as well as case management. To top it off, Andrea is a student at UCI. She will graduate in June of 2023 with a degree in Cognitive Science.

In her spare time, Andrea enjoys cuddling up at home with her cat. On the weekends, Andrea volunteers at human rights organizations and helps with filing work permits and DACA renewals. She also volunteers at Human Options, a domestic violence shelter. Andrea is currently on the hunt for Orange County’s best margarita.

As a recent hire at Traut Firm, Andrea has enjoyed her introduction to personal injury law. She has found her coworkers approachable, supportive, and willing to help. Says Andrea, “Working at Traut Firm is great.” She continues, “My work has never felt scary or overwhelming, and I really appreciate everyone here for that.”
