Reopening the St. Vincent de Paul Store

Good news!
The St. Vincent de Paul Store will reopen after some freshening up.

The store will also host a donation drive in the church parking lot on the weekend of July 29th and 30th. They will accept clothing, housewares and small appliances in working condition. More details to come.

Please, no donations to the store until the work is complete, thanks!

First Holy Communion

Young Men Discernment Retreat

Men aged 18-40 are invited to the Peterborough Diocese annual young men's discernment retreat. It is a week-long stay at the St. John the Baptist Mission in Morinus, ON, located on beautiful Lake Rosseau on August 22-27th. The retreat is facilitated by Frs. Stephen deCarlo and Jerry Tavares.

There will be plenty of opportunity for swimming, fishing, and hiking. There is no cost, however, participants are welcome to make a donateion. Those interested should contact Fr. Stephen at [email protected] or 705-745-5123 by July 21st.

Annual Walking Pilgrimage - In the Footsteps of the Holy Canadian Martyrs

August 13 to 19, 2023.

Departs from St Joseph's Church, Powassan at 1pm on August 13. The 130 km walk will end after 5 days at Holy Family Church, Britt where pilgrims will venerate the relics of the Martyrs. The Pilgrimage will conclude with Mass on the morning of August 19th.
