Veterans attempting to access their benefits often face challenges related to resources, complex appeals processes, and not being identified as an affected veteran.

Laws barring care for transgender minors faltering in court
Federal district courts have paused six states' laws that prohibit gender-affirming care for minors, with judges ruling that the measures violate the 14th Amendment's equal protection clause. The judges in most cases have halted the laws while legal challenges to them are moving forward, although one judge has handed down a permanent injunction against Arkansas' law.
