| The Dr. Walter "Ben" Bohl Scholarship Fund directly supports both local and international students attending life-changing field study experiences at Forfar Field Station. The scholarship was established to honor and in memory of the many years Ben spent working for International Field Studies as the co-founder and Executive Director of IFS from 1970-2015. |

| After almost 2 years with IFS as our Program Manager, we sadly said goodbye to Alexis Willoughby in February. She was an integral part of our Columbus office, managing the range of details associated with coordinating field studies experiences for our groups. We certainly miss her but are thrilled she is pursuing a dream job with ME&A.

| In February, we hired a new Program Coordinator, Hannah Boor, in our Columbus office. Hannah has extensive experience working in administrative and managerial positions. She has an immense love and appreciation for our planet and preserving it for future generations. We are thrilled she has joined our team and appreciate the care and attention to detail she is providing our groups. |

| Over the past 6 years, we have made changes and upgrades to the field station as part of our larger capital improvement plan. Some of the recent projects include re-wiring of the field station, adding an additional septic tank, and remodeling the cabins. Thank you to those who have donated over the years as it has helped us provide the needed upgrades and repairs to keep the field station operational! |

| We are proud to announce that we have secured a generator for Forfar! It was a large purchase for us and took some time to acquire it, but we are hopeful it will help with the power outages! The purchase of this generator was part of our capital improvement plan. |
|
As we look ahead to future projects as part of our capital improvement plan we will be remodeling Cabin 1, planning for our pole barn with solar, and purchasing a new boat and work truck. Please reach out if you would like to donate to any of these improvements. |
