Hello CWOs!



It has come to our attention the Congressional Budget Office, has in its normal fashion, decided to publish yet another pice of garbage that would help balance the budget by taking money out of the pockets of our Veterans and Retirees.  



This is a long standing tradition, that dates back many years, and we at CWOA see right through it.  



I want to assure you, that this is just a suggestion from the CBO, and is not in any way shape or form policy that is being considered seriously.   The Secretary of the VA has specifically came out in opposition to this policy, and agrees it is not in keeping with standards of the VA.  



CWOA stands side by side with organizations like the American Legion, VFW, MOAA, and many others in ensuring that this garbage proposal is never enacted.  You can rest easy knowing that myself, and your Chief Policy Officer, Aniela Szymanski, will add this to every talking point we use when we attend meetings on capitol hill. 



With that being said, I would also encourage you to visit, call or email your local representatives at the Local, State and Federal levels and tell them that the CBO is proposing that you lose your hard earned benefits and that you and our nations Veterans deserve better than for the Countries bean countries to try and balance the budget out of the pockets of our Nations Veterans!
