Come receive spiritual healing through the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Sunday, April 2nd, noon to 6:45pm.

As our community grows, lots of help is needed to bring Our Lord to those who join our worship. Please consider joining our team of Communion Ministers who help the priest in the distribution of Communion at Mass.

Training for new Communion Ministers takes place on

AN INTRODUCTION TO CHRISTIAN MEDITATION- A SIX WEEK JOURNEY
St Joseph Catholic Church, Bowmanville
This journey provides an opportunity for those interested in finding out about Christian Meditation, to experience the practice in a small group, to learn about its origins and to discover its relevance as a form of prayer for our contemporary world.

Journey through Lent

with the Bishops of Canada

The CCCB video series Journey through Lent will be available once again on the CCCB website. This year’s Lenten reflections are delivered by His Eminence Gérald Cyprien Cardinal Lacroix, Archbishop of Quebec and Primate of Canada, and the Most Reverend Brian Joseph Dunn, Archbishop of Halifax-Yarmouth.

Every Monday throughout the Season of Lent, a video will be posted on the CCCB website in English and in French for the following Sunday’s eucharistic celebration.

The Call of the Catechist

In March and April of 2023, the CCCB Office for Evangelization and Catechesis is hosting a webinar series, titled "The Call of the Catechist", inviting leaders of catechesis and evangelization to participate in a national discussion on the formation of catechists which will be of interest to those involved in catechesis and evangelization today.
