Welcome to our Summer Newsletter!

We'll be sharing information about our Pride Festival, upcoming ElderPride events, ElderPride's Proud Pals Penpal program, and more!

Pride 2023 will run from July 14 – 23, with our parade on July 23, 2023.

Our 2023 Pride Festival Guide is now LIVE! You can check out the Pride Guide online (with optional narration) or pick up a copy at City Hall in July. You can download the Pride Guide in a PDF form when you open the link, which allows for greater magnification and offline viewing. We also have a plain text version available.

In addition to our Pride Guide, we have all of our events are listed on the Events Calendar on our website. Further, you can check out our events on Facebook (we are adding Facebook events daily, all events will be up soon)!

Please note that the Pride Guide and event listings are subject to change.

All changes and/or late additions to our festival lineup will be made on our website and in our Facebook events.

There are many ways to get involved with Fierté Fredericton Pride and to engage in our annual Pride Festival!

VOLUNTEERS WITH US

Fierté Fredericton Pride is entirely volunteer-run and relies on the support of passionate and generous volunteers to make the Pride Festival happen! There are many different ways to volunteer! Sign up to VOLUNTEER TODAY!

Check out our upcoming ElderPride events! ElderPride is an intergenerational 2SLGBTQ+ program. These events are open to 2SLGBTQ+ folx age 18+ who wish to connect across generations! Space is limited at some events; priority will be given to individuals age 40+. ElderPride has four events this summer, all with ASL.

Proud Pals is an intergenerational pen pal 2SLGBTQ+ program run by ElderPride! Proud Pals matches 2SLGBTQ+ seniors with 2SLGBTQ+ pen pals to help build community and create opportunities to share lived experiences and knowledge. The pen pal program is open to 2SLGBTQ+ individuals over 18 in the Maritime provinces.
