The biggest OA event of the year in our area is heading to Grants Pass this September!

This year's conclave is a long drive for many of our Arrowmen, but it will be well worth the extra few miles. From fun and engaging activities and competitions and interesting morning training sessions to '80s themed special events and exciting evening shows, conclave has so much to offer.

Grants Pass is home to the original Dutch Bros. coffee, so we are giving away a special Dutch Bros. gift package for one lucky Arrowman. All you have to do is be one of the first 50 registered!

Want to see our section vice chief shave his head? How about our chief and secretary dye their hair? These will happen when we hit certain registration milestones. You can help by registering today.

Summer is here! Now it is time to seek new opportunities to help you grow. It could be getting more involved with your chapter or lodge or unit. The OA is all about opportunities that are waiting just for you.

Don't forget about the section photo contest running through the end of the month!

Submit your inductions-related photos by June 30th for a chance to win prizes and have your photo featured in an upcoming section publication.

The contest is open to both youth and adult Arrowmen and we are in need of more submissions!

he section training committee is looking for Arrowmen to be trainers for this year’s conclave training program. If you have a special skill or knowledge of a subject that you think other Arrowmen may be interested in learning more about, then being a trainer is for you.

You've Completed Your Induction: Now What?

First off, congratulations! You were selected by your fellow Scouts in recognition of your commitment to living the Scout Oath and Law in your daily life. Next, you underwent the four tests of the Ordeal: a night alone on your groundsheet, a day of arduous service, scant food, all spent in “thoughtful” silence. What does this all mean? How does this apply to me? Why did I complete the four tests?

Interested in the next level of leadership and service? Consider volunteering at the section level! There are several opportunities to get involved the section.

We are especially looking for volunteer staff for this year's conclave to serve a variety of committees.

The conclave auction committee is looking for donations of items for the silent and live auctions at this year’s conclave. The auctions raise money to help support the section’s year-round operations including providing scholarships, sending section officers to the region gathering and National Planning Meeting, section communications, and supporting the lodges we serve.

Donations of all sorts are welcome including patches, Scouting memorabilia, camping equipment, and more.

Tsisqan Lodge held its Spring Induction Weekend on June 16-18 at Camp Baker where over 80 members gathered for an induction-packed weekend.

Friday night kicked off with candidates excitedly arriving at camp and breaking out into their crews for the weekend. After some short ice breakers, the candidates were off to their first ceremony and the next step in their journey in becoming members of the Order of the Arrow.

ArrowCorps returns this summer! Hosted by Wauna La-Mon'tay Lodge, ArrowCorps is a week-long service project in the wilderness around Camp Pioneer. ArrowCorps is open to all Scouts and Scouters, not just OA members, and participants will have the opportunity to meet and serve alongside a special guest!
