July is the month of the Romsey Festival Music and Arts, Crafts and Entertainment from 1st to 16th July 2023.  This is when all interested groups in the town come together to organise hundreds of events that celebrate Romsey.

Join us to hunt down the natural treasures of Romsey Town Centre. The Natural Environment Committee have designed a special treasure hunt for you and your family to enjoy during the Romsey Festival 2023. All you need is the weblink and your smart phone to take part.

Scan the QR code below to get started. Follow the questions and gather evidence as you wander along the trail. The more observant you are, the higher your score! You can work as a team or use all your family’s phones to compete against each other. Who is the best Natural Detective in your family?

Walk: New Forest

A 5.5-mile walk on tracks and paths through the forest and across heathland. Meet at 10am on Ashurst railway station, on platform 2 (Ashurst village end).

Optional lunch at the New Forest Inn afterwards.

La Ronde

Sunday 9th July

As part of Romsey Festival, 7 private gardens, all within walking distance of the centre of Romsey are open to the public. Gardens are open from 11.00 to 5:00 pm on Sunday 11th July 2021. The admission ticket gives entry to all of the gardens; there is no charge for children.

Special Brew

Festival Brew

The Romsey Festival Brew 23 ale is now ready and available for sale from Flack Manor Brewery. We are told that 960 bottles need to be sold! Stocks can be ordered from Flack Manor Brewery.

A case of 12 bottles retails at £28.50, which works out at about £2.38 per bottle. Everything is available on-line on a Click and Collect basis. Collection is from Flack Manor Brewery between 12 and 2 Monday to Friday, also between 4pm and 8pm Fridays and Saturdays, when their taproom is open.
