Upcoming events and information at the Burnaby Neighbourhod House

There is so much happening at BNH! North House hosted its Syria Community Dinner, community garden volunteers harvested more vegetables for our food programs, and last weekend we hosted our first 'Walk & Roll' walkathon. More than 100 walkers came out to support seniors health and we raised over $10,000! Thank you so much for all the walkers, volunteers, partner agencies, and corporate supporters who came out!

Would you like learn to use email, create files and documents, use excel, search the Internet or practice typing and writing skills on a computer? Volunteer Computer Instructors are available to help community residents with their computer learning needs. We offer support in multiple languages.

Drop in to this in-person program at either the North House or South House. No registration required.

Our EAL classes are for people who would like to learn/improve their English skills. These classes are a fun way to practice conversation, make new friends, and try learning! These volunteer-led EAL classes are available throughout the year for beginner to intermediate level students.

Qi Gong is a personal practice that led to fitness, flexibility, and internal peace that combines the physical benefits of exercise with the spiritual qualities of meditation, leading to full nourishment of both mind and body.

There are many different types of Qi Gong practices, but most of them involve slow-moving exercises that reflect the qualities of nature.
