Duane Owen Update
As you probably know there was another death warrant signed by Governor DeSantis. This time for Duane Owen, with an execution scheduled on June 15th, 2023 at 6 pm.
There was a short stay to evaluate his metal competency (if he was able to comprehend why he was on death row and why he was being executed), but on May 25, the stay was lifting, declaring that Duane Owen was competent to proceed to execution.
There are still some pending litigations at this time.

Vigil for Duane Owen

If the execution were to proceed, we will as always join the vigil for Duane Owen in (a peaceful) protest of his execution.
The vigil will start at 5 pm on Wednesday June 15th on the ground of New River Correctional Institution, directly across from Florida State Prison.
