California's Car Culture WINS!

On September 29, 2022, Governor Gavin Newsom signed SB 1107 raising the minimum liability auto insurance limits. Established in 1974, the current minimum liability limits are $15,000 per person, $30,000 per accident, and $5,000 for property damage. Effective 2025, the new limits will be $30,000 per person, $60,000 per accident, and $15,000 for property damage. These revised amounts are expected to be adequate for most “standard” automobile accident claims and will better protect consumers. The delay in implementation gives theinsurers sufficient time to calculate rates. It's a WIN for California's Drivers!

Praise for Eric's COTA Event Participation

Eric received praise for his involvement in this year’s College of Trail Advocacy program. Says the attendee. “I just wanted to reach out and express my gratitude to you and the team who put together the College of Trial Advocacy this year. The experience was amazing. It was so inspiring to get to hear insights from the brilliant attorneys (and judges) among us and see their techniques in action. I walked away from this seminar reflecting on what a privilege it is to be a litigator – to be the one who tells my clients’ stories, and who uses the tools at hand to bring those stories to life via openings/closings, direct/cross examination, and the introduction of evidence. Thank you again for all of the time and efforts you and your team spent to make this such a wonderful program for us all.”

YELP Review:
Nihao (Norway)

In a failed effort to mix it up in Norway, this Chinese restaurant, with what appeared to be an extensive and interesting menu, missed the mark.

Five of us ordered different dishes varying from selections like chicken Chow Mein and a vegetable bowl. Each came in a giant bowl covered in an identical mediocre brown sauce. I could easily have closed my eyes, taken a bite from each bowl, and been unable to recognize any difference in the taste.

The only positive notes were that the white rice was excellent and the portions were substantial. (2 Stars)
