Queen Elizabeth II

21 April 1926 – 8 September 2022

Merciful Father and Lord of all life,
we praise you that we are made in your image and reflect your truth and light.
We thank you for the life of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth, for the love she received from you and showed among us.
Above all, we rejoice at your gracious promise to all your servants, living and departed, that we shall rise again at the coming of Christ. We ask that in due time we may share with your servant Elizabeth
that clearer vision promised to us in the same Christ our Lord; who is alive and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end. Amen.

Reflect on the Gospel

Image description

Each Thursday after the 8am Mass, a Gospel Reflection group lead by Fr. Darlington reflects on the Gospel for the upcoming week. It's a great way to get ready for the Sunday Mass, learn more about our Faith and listen for God's Good News. It's also a great place to meet others from our parish and share how the Gospel message can be lived out daily.

All are Welcome. They're even complimentary coffee, tea and snacks.

Join the Disciples

of Saint Joseph Church

Our church grows when disciples serve. After all, how could the generous gift of time and talent combined with the guidance of the Holy Spirit do anything but bear real and truly good fruit? Over the next week, please pray about how you may be called to serve in our church. Regardless of your skills, education, capacities, blessings or limitations, you have something to offer!

If, after prayerful consideration you discern you are called to serve, please visit the website to see different way you might serve and share your intention. Disciples serve, not just to help churches out but to encounter God and to share his love.

Please keep in your thoughts and prayers...

Jesus, Our Lord, we ask you to have mercy on all who are sick. Give them your strength and love and help them carry this cross with faith. May their sufferings be one with yours, overcome the power of evil and lead others to our Father in Heaven.

Lord Jesus, hear our prayer, for you are Lord forever and ever. Amen.
